There is no denying that oculofacial plastic surgeon Dr. Mirwat Sami and her cardiologist husband Dr. Shehzad Sami are a power couple. Balancing two incredibly demanding professions with raising three young children and still making time for romance may seem impossible, but they prove that it can be done.
For these two, love blossomed when they met in med school in Pakistan. After falling in love, the two married in 2002 and moved to Houston, where they soon dove straight into their demanding professions. Trust and admiration for one another plays a pivotal role in their relationship, and there is no denying that that these two love birds are the perfect teammates.
While their schedules may be tight, they always make time for the family and for one another.
